You likely have heard mindfulness used, but what does it actually mean?

Many credit Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn with introducing mindfulness to mainstream society. He describes mindfulness as "paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgementally."

According to the American Psychological Association, there are plenty of benefits from practicing mindfulness. Some of these benefits include:

  • Decreases stress
  • Improves focus
  • Boosts memory
