Borrow 

The Bowman Library Collection is open to the Menlo College campus community. Patrons are welcome to browse and borrow materials at the library with Menlo ID cards, or online using their library account.

Place holds, renew items, and view your library account online with My Account.

  • Navigate to the library catalog
  • Click "Sign In" on the top right of the page

  • Enter your Menlo network username and password

Circulation Policies


The Library Desk is open all hours of Library operation, with the last checkout taking place 10 minutes before the building closes. Circulating materials are checked out by using a Menlo College ID card.

Note: Patrons with overdue items are restricted from borrowing additional materials until the overdue materials are returned. Please see a librarian with questions.

* Visiting students may borrow up to 5 books at a time for 28 days. Please see a librarian for database access or for assistance printing.


Request

 

Patrons can place a hold request for items in the Bowman Library collection through My Account or request items available in libraries worldwide through interlibrary loan (ILL).


Renew

 

In general, items may be renewed if not needed for Course Reserves or already requested by another patron. Renewals may be done in person, with materials in hand, at the circulation desk, or online at My Account. Overdue materials must be renewed in person.

Fines

 

Bowman Library users are responsible for replacement and processing fees for lost or damaged items. There is a replacement charge, plus a processing fee, for any damage to, or loss of a Chromebook and accompanying peripherals issued, up to a maximum of $800.
