Office of Disability Employment Policy, U.S. Department of Labor - ODEP's mission is to develop and influence policies and practices that increase the number and quality of employment opportunities for people with disabilities. ODEP manages a number of efforts designed to advance disability employment.

Americans with Disabilities Act - The ADA expands equal employment opportunity and full inclusion for people with disabilities. Through its work to implement the ADA, the Department of Justice is breaking down barriers to employment for individuals with disabilities.

Institute for Research in Poverty - IRP is a center for interdisciplinary research into the causes and consequences of poverty and social inequality in the United States.

National Center for Children in Poverty - (NCCP) is the nation’s leading public policy center dedicated to promoting the economic security, health, and well-being of America’s low-income families and children.

National Poverty Center - (NPC) was established in the fall of 2002 as a university-based, nonpartisan research center. We conduct and promote multidisciplinary, policy-relevant research on the causes and consequences of poverty and provide mentoring and training to young scholars.

Social Watch - An international network of citizens’ organizations in the struggle to eradicate poverty and the causes of poverty, to end all forms of discrimination and racism, to ensure an equitable distribution of wealth and the realization of human rights.

Americans United for Separation of Church and State
Americans United for Separation of Church and State is a nonpartisan educational and advocacy organization dedicated to advancing the constitutional principle of church-state separation as the only way to ensure freedom of religion, including the right to believe or not believe, for all Americans.

Boisi Center for Religion and American Public Life
The Boisi Center is affiliated with Boston College. Its purpose is to connect scholars, policy makers, media and religious leaders in conversations and scholarly reflection around issues at the intersection of religion and American public life.

Center for the Study of Religious Freedom - The CSRF equips students and community members to be leaders and citizens who understand how the reconciliation of religious differences creates meaningful opportunities for civil solutions to difficult and urgent problems. 

The Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life - Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping the world.

GLAD - Through strategic litigation, public policy advocacy, and education, GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders works in New England and nationally to create a just society free of discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation.

The National Center for Transgender Equality -  advocates to change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people

The Williams Institute - dedicated to conducting rigorous, independent research on sexual orientation and gender identity law and public policy.

Race Forward - Founded in 1981, Race Forward brings systemic analysis to complex race issues to help people take effective action toward racial equity. The site includes videos, research reports, and more. They publish a daily news site: Colorlines, and present Facing Race, the country’s largest multiracial conference on racial justice.

Racial Equity Resource Guide - resources and tools of individuals and organizations that have been working to foster racial healing and racial equity in communities within our nation. The materials found on this website have been developed with the help of the America Healing community and racial equity field. You will find practical resources including articles, organizations, research, books, media strategies and training curricula for organizations and individuals working to achieve racial healing and equity in their communities.

Racial Equity Tools - designed to support individuals and groups working to achieve racial equity. This site offers tools, research, tips, curricula and ideas for people who want to increase their own understanding and to help those working toward justice at every level – in systems, organizations, communities and the culture at large.

Catalyst: Workplaces That Work for Women - Founded in 1962, Catalyst is a global nonprofit that works with over 800 companies around the world to accelerate women into leadership.

Clayman Institute for Gender Research  - While their research agenda addresses gender inequality broadly, it includes such topics as dual-career academic couples, women in technology, and work-life balance.

The Institute for Women's Policy Research - Conducts research related to women’s economic, family, and social needs and their status in their community and society. Research findings are disseminated, often for free, through this web site.
