Enter a state, city, county, or zip code into the Community Facts box at the top of the current Am FactFinder page and take a look at some of the options in the left-hand column to find out about a community's population: age, education levels, income, race, among other data.
- Data.Census.Gov -- U.S. Census BureauThis is the site that replaces American FactFinder. It is already live. Search function works well, and it helps if you are familiar with the kinds of data the Census Bureau collects. Use the help features/information on the page to learn more about using this site.
- Consumer Expenditure SurveyFrom the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, this site provides information on the buying habits of American consumers. The landing page provides an overview of the Survey and links to all related products of use for your research.
