Representations of Media

These are curated lists of films and televisions shows about different types of media.  They are sorted by the type of media that film or TV show portrays.  After the title of the work you will see parenthesis showing if it is a movie or a tv show.  Some works also have notes about where you can find them.

Because movies and TV shows move around to different streaming sites, you can use this website Just Watch , to help you figure out where you can find these recommended shows.  

Remember that your local public library often has a large selection of popular movies and tv shows that they lend out for free.   Usually they lend out physical media like DVD's or Blu-Rays.  If you or a friend has a Play Station, you can watch DVD's (and sometimes Blu-Rays) on the Play Station.  The library also has a large TV in the classroom hooked up to a computer that can play DVDs.  You can always reserve the classroom to watch there.
