Thank you to everyone for your patience as we completed some urgent repairs and a deep cleaning. Thanks to the quick work of our facilities team, cleaning staff and others, we've sealed the roof and cleaned most of the debris throughout the library. We have begun to replace damaged book collections, replacing with eBooks whenever possible. Shared Print collections have been replaced as part of our consortial obligation among regional libraries. On Monday and Tuesday, additional vaccuuming on the collections will occur during the library open hours, causing some noise. In the upcoming weeks, you will see large bookcarts in the library. Certain collections will be temporarily moved off the shelving in the learning commons area so that the walls can be repainted. The bookcarts will be temporarily held in the quiet area for patron access and earthquake safety.
