Bowman Library submitted a request to the Faculty Senate to form a subcommittee on the library.
The proposed advisory committee will meet twice per semester. Please consider serving.

A charge and outline of member roles has been provided to the President of the Faculty Senate, Lan Jiang, for Senate consideration in September.

If adopted, the Senate, in collaboration with the Library, will nominate the initial membership. Please contact Dr. Jiang if you have questions or may be interested in serving.

Thank you to those who have already expressed interest in serving; that's a lovely sign of energy and commitment to the success of our library, and consequently, our students!

The Library will also form a student advisory committee.

Did you know?

Bowman Library served as the primary cooling station for faculty, students and staff during the heatwave last week.

Students flocked to the library and our facility burst to the seams with people seeking reprieve during peak hours.

Libraries typically serve as cooling stations and first response staging areas in emergencies.

Thank you to our facilities team for keeping our HVAC in shape!
