The Bowman Library Research Guides are a series of guides developed by the librarians to help students navigate the Library's resources. They include "how to" guides for the research process as well as subject-specific guides to assist students with their research papers.

When conducting academic research, all contributors must be credited. Not to do so is palgiarism, that is, intentionally or unintentionally taking the ideas, work or words of another without sufficiently acknowleging their source. The resources in this section will assist you in understanding how to properly credit the sources of your research, the nature of plagiarism, and how to avoid it.
